Freddie Reichel

Research Associate

Freddie graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish & Latin American Cultures in May 2020. After graduation, she worked as a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Management at Hospital for Special Surgery, conducting randomized controlled trials related to the use of regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine to minimize overall opioid use and improve outcomes after orthopedic surgery. She previously worked at the Barnard College Cognitive Development Center, studying the development of spatial and numerical cognition in children, and as a research assistant in the Department of Neurology at NYU Langone Health, studying non-pharmacologic therapies as treatment for chronic migraine. She plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical child psychology.
