How ROI Files Were Made
On average 12-minutes of resting state data were collected for 10 fetuses (29-36 weeks gestational age). During the resting-state scan, axial slices of blood-oxygen-level-dependent (BOLD) data were acquired with 4-mm slice thickness on a Siemens Magnetom Verio 3T. Data were collected at the MR Research Facility at Wayne State University. Spatially constrained parcellation (SCP) was used to generate fetal ROI files (.nii.gz) containing either 100, 150 or 200 ROIs. Specifically, we ran 10 fetal resting-state data sets through software available here, reference available here. Prior to running fetal resting-state data through the SCP process, data were normalized to a publicly available 32-week fetal template available here, reference available here. In preparation for running SCP we generated a binary grey matter mask in the fetal template space. Our most current parcellation file contains 197 ROIs and was created from N=100 fetal resting-state data sets using methods described above.
