The SCAN Lab would love to welcome our newest lab member, Narcis Marshall!
Narcis joins us from University of California – Los Angeles. Narcis majored in psychology and has worked in both the Bjork Learning & Memory Lab and in Dr. Lieberman’s Social Cognitive Neuroscience Lab. She completed her senior honors research thesis on a project involving retrieval-induced forgetting and future episodic imagining, and also received the PROPS research award for her independent project on empathy and depression in adults who have experienced loss. Narcis has presented research at UCLA’s Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference (PURC) and at the Stanford Undergraduate Research Conference (SUPC). She hopes to further pursue her research interests in clinical neuroscience and eventually apply to a PhD program for clinical psychology.
