We would like to welcome our new lab managers Angela Vila and Lauren Grove!
Angela has been working with Drs. Ann Stacks and Marjorie Beeghly for over 2 years as a research assistant. In June, she formally accepted a full time position as Lab Manager and Project Coordinator for the ANXEPI Child emotional development project. Angela received her BA in Health Psychology from Wayne State University in 2012. She aspires to learn more about neuroscience, possibly moving to an advance degree program in the next 2-3 years.
Lauren joins us from University of Michigan, where she received her degree in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Science in 2010. Lauren will begin as a full time Lab Manager and Project Coordinator for the PINC fetal brain development project later this month. Lauren has extensive experience in project coordination, having most recently served in the University of Michigan Depression Center, working with patients and obtaining neuroimaging and biological specimen data. Lauren also has her eye on gaining admission to an advanced degree program in neuroscience in the next couple of years.
The SCANlab is very excited about the major talent and positive energy that will be infused into our research by these bright, capable, new additions to our team.
